Grandparent Respite
Program for grandparents/guardians age 55 or older in Northern Nevada raising their grandchild(ren) or other relative(s) under age 18 without support from the biological parents. The child(ren) cannot be legally adopted or in foster care. The biological parent(s) cannot live in the same home, nor be the paid providers of care for the child(ren).
This program is available without income restrictions and temporary situations are acceptable. Nevada counties of Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey, Washoe, White Pine and Carson City are in our service area.
